Nice to meet you, we are Coffee Port, specialty coffee roastery in Ashiya city Hyogo, Japan

We established our roastery in 2020 in Minami-Ashiyahama, the southernmost part of Ashiya city.

Specialty coffees are high quality coffees that are traded at sustainable price, and are said to be in the top 5% of coffees in the world. However, we roast and serve coffee based on our philosophy of "casual specialty," which is the best for "customers".

At Coffee Port, the first question we ask is, "Do you add milk to your coffee?" "Do you drink with sweets?" This is because we "Good Coffee" is different depending on customer's lifestyle, and we want to provide a support the best coffee experience with well selected & roasted coffee.

We select each green coffee bean with carefully checking its condition and character of each region, just like food you buy at market.

Behind this, we cupped (tasting of coffee) more than 1,000 lots of coffee per year, closely exchanged information with coffee producing origins, plan the timing of purchasing fresh coffee beans, care of storage condition, and researched roasting methods and roasting chemistry. As a specialty coffee shop, we operate with respect the farmers and shippers, and we believe this will be directly contributing good coffee time for customers.
